Tom Camilleri commented on Department of Justice Slams First Amendment, Claims Parents Are Engaged In “Domestic Terrorism And Hate Crimes” 2021-10-19 14:48:28 -0700Clearly, this is a local matter. Parents should have a determining voice as to how they want their children educated and educators should welcome their concern. Different communities will have different values and schools should reflect them rather than impose “one size fits all.” The DOJ should stay out of it, leaving it in the appropriate hands of state Attorneys General.
Tom Camilleri signed Stop The Destruction of Civil Liberties 2020-10-31 05:53:56 -0700Since science, journalism and politics have been prostituted in the service of various agendas, we can no longer have confidence that any particular source is dispensing truthful scientific information. Recognizing this unfortunate evolution does not imply a personal stance on particular scientific questions, nor does it negate the validity of seeking and following the advice of an honest broker of scientific truth. However, in the absence of trusted authority and reliably truthful information, we have neither reason nor justification to abdicate any of our political and social freedoms to the state, nor to any other body that seeks to control us. Without compelling reason to voluntarily and temporarily surrender any of our freedoms, our default position must be to passionately resist any abridgment thereof.
DEFEND YOUR CIVIL LIBERTIES
SIGN THE PETITION
WHEREAS we recognize the seriousness of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the need to take strong personal actions to combat its contagion and also the need for local communities to provide for adequate medical care for those who are infected,
WHEREAS Governors, mayors and county sheriffs across the nation are declaring states of emergency under the guise of protecting the public from the coronavirus,
WHEREAS these emergencies have been declared without respect to Civil Liberties contained in the First, Second and Fourth Amendments,
WHEREAS the right to peaceable assembly has been nullified by limiting to very small groups and in some cases declaring that violators will be fined and/or incarcerated,
WHEREAS churches are being forced to abandon physical assemblies in favor of online broadcasting that is not available to a vast number of smaller churches in America,
WHEREAS businesses are being forced out of business because of mandated closure for indefinite periods of time,

WHEREAS the Fourth Amendment is being violated when citizens are not secure "in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures [that] shall not be violated",
WHEREAS all of these actions are preventing citizens from exercising their Unalienable Rights as guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence, including the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness,
WHEREAS all elected leaders take an oath of office to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States",6,420 signatures
THEREFORE the signers of this petition demand that all civil and/or elected officials who have issued any type of executive order or emergency declaration in relation to the coronavirus, rescind any and all orders that violate any portion of the Bill of Rights. including the First, Second and Fourth Amendments. Furthermore, we demand that all future orders will not violate the U.S. Constitution and that oversight be exercised to ensure that this does not happen either intentionally or inadvertently.

Free Speech: Use It Or Lose It
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." - First Amendment, U.S. Constitution
This is a call to action for all Americans to rise and defend Free Speech and the First Amendment:
Free Speech Requires Your Active Participation
America's tradition of civil discourse has been trodden down by government overreach that implements policies like face masks and social distancing. Consider the damage:
- Freedom to worship - Churches mandated to follow government policies like wearing masks, social distancing, limited attendance, etc.
- Freedom of speech - Who has anything to say with a face muzzle over their mouth?
- Freedom of the press - Big Tech massively censors anyone and everyone who dares to refute their narrative, including doctors, scientists and other health professionals.
- Freedom to assemble peaceably - Between social distancing and capacity limitations, most Americans have simply stayed home.
- Freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances - Because of the state of emergency, government leaders from top to bottom will not even listen to their constituents, much less address their pressing needs.

LaVoy: Dead Man Talking
Exclusively for members of Citizens for Free Speech
Thursday, November 8th, 7:00PM Eastern
Members of Citizens for Free Speech are invited to an exclusive Internet presentation that reveals the true story behind the life and times of Arizona rancher LaVoy Finicum, who was tragically shot down by the FBI and Oregon State troopers on January 26, 2016 in eastern Oregon.
This one hour documentary, LaVoy: Dead Man Talking, reveals what happens when the First Amendment is ignored while aggressive Federal overreach presses personal rights to the extreme.
The First Amendment is a package of rights, including freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to peaceful assembly, and freedom to redress the government of grievances against them. Each one of these were methodically violated over a long period of time, leading up to the senseless and unwarranted shooting of this courageous Arizona rancher, who only wanted to enjoy the rights to his lawfully-obtained personal property without excessive government intrusion.
America should take this as a wake-up call as to why the First Amendment was placed first: it is the first protection against all forms of tyranny. The second President of the United States, John Adams, stated,
“The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence.” (1787)
Trailer - LaVoy: Dead Man Talking
LaVoy Finicum was, and still is, a victim of "label-lynching" that is so prevalent in today's twisted and dysfunctional political environment. Just to set the record straight, he was never a member of any militia nor a member of the so-called "sovereign citizen" movement. Most certainly, he was not a "domestic terrorist" as was falsely claimed by the FBI.
This documentary, free for CFFS members, will be shown live in a webinar format, requiring a computer, laptop or tablet device. You will hear from LaVoy Finicum's widow, Jeannette Finicum, as well as from the film's producer, Mark Herr, Executive Director of Center for Self Governance.
This is a must-see documentary for everyone who loves and respects the U.S. Constitution, and in particular, the First Amendment.
