On Episode 8 of Stand and Deliver: Pat and Bob discuss a huge revelation in the fight for medical freedom: Dr. Francis Collins, the former Director of the National Institute of Health, was behind the removal of the Great Barrington Declaration. The man in charge of so much of the nation’s science decided to cancel science—that he didn’t agree with. This type of censorship sends major signals to ordinary Americans that if their point of view is not shared by those in power, it will be suppressed and canceled.

Parents designated as domestic terrorists for arguing with school boards may soon be codified in American law. The designation came after the US Department of Justice prompted and received a letter from the National School Boards Association complaining of parents’ behavior at board meetings. Now, a bill in the Judiciary Committee would cement the language as law.

In this week's podcast, Bob and I found some new pronouns for ourselves, to coincide with our new identities of the day, since that's apparently how this is supposed to work. Bob identified as "Your Awesomeness" and I decided that on this day I would be "Graybeard."

On episode 4 of Stand and Deliver, Patrick and Bob analyze the lessons learned from the Canadian Freedom Convoy and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s heavy-handed stifling of their protest. Trudeau imposed Canadian Martial Law in crushing the truckers’ revolt against vaccine mandates and other pandemic-related restrictions, before eventually ending his use of the “Emergencies Act” under threat of legal action.

The biggest story on the north American continent is taking place in Canada and yet it is censured to death in the U.S. Prime Minister Trudeau has enacted sweeping martial law policies to crush the protest and the protestors, effectively declaring himself dictator. Thus, the largest battle over Free Speech (the right to peaceably protest) is taking place right before our eyes.

Suddenly the slippery slope has just gotten slipperier as businesses of public accommodation are now discriminating against people based on political ideology.
