DEFEND YOUR CIVIL LIBERTIES

SIGN THE PETITION

WHEREAS we recognize the seriousness of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the need to take strong personal actions to combat its contagion and also the need for local communities to provide for adequate medical care for those who are infected,

WHEREAS Governors, mayors and county sheriffs across the nation are declaring states of emergency under the guise of protecting the public from the coronavirus,

WHEREAS these emergencies have been declared without respect to Civil Liberties contained in the First, Second and Fourth Amendments,

WHEREAS the right to peaceable assembly has been nullified by limiting to very small groups and in some cases declaring that violators will be fined and/or incarcerated,

WHEREAS churches are being forced to abandon physical assemblies in favor of online broadcasting that is not available to a vast number of smaller churches in America,

WHEREAS businesses are being forced out of business because of mandated closure for indefinite periods of time,

WHEREAS the Second Amendment is being violated when government executives, using unchecked power granted them to combat the spread of the Coronavirus, use that power to deny citizens their right to purchase arms and/or ammunition,

WHEREAS the Fourth Amendment is being violated when citizens are not secure "in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures [that] shall not be violated",

WHEREAS all of these actions are preventing citizens from exercising their Unalienable Rights as guaranteed in the Declaration of Independence, including the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness,

WHEREAS all elected leaders take an oath of office to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States",

Riddle me this: What has the mandated demolition of crops, dumping of milk, destruction of livestock, forbidding farmland to be planted, and the forced closure of small businesses (or not so small) and of people’s ability to feed their families – as an authoritarian reaction to a disease – got to do with preventing the spread of any disease? Personally, I worked in hospitals for years, military and civilian. For some reason I cannot recall such measures ever being part of disease prevention protocols.

Thank you for courage to organize this. Our Constitution was written in time of conflict. It is not a document to be pulled at times of ease only

Locked up in a 500 square foot apartment. Didn’t sign up for this, 6 months ago never would have believed possible. We were all scared by the mainstream media and tricked into compliance.

This petition must require severe penalties for all actions taken by elected persons who personally act to diminish and/or deny enjoyment of the rights, protections, and republican form of government protected, and mandated by constitutional law.

Public servants, chosen by the people they are to serve, shall be bound by law to serving those people only. Their service shall be, at all times, performed as required/permitted by constitutional law.

No personal affiliation(s) shall be permitted elected public servants, by act, deed, declaration, to any political organization/ideology that has national presence and financial resources sufficient to, or for establishing policies/instituting laws that are not for the benefits of the whole body of American citizens and naturalized citizens.

Violations of the above shall be determined by the majority of the voters in the voting district who chose the offender to serve them. When sufficient complaints are written and signed by the majority of the voters, concerning a public servants performance, from that particular voting district the violator shall be told to leave office and made to return any/all benefits received, from all sources, from the date voting results proved his/her being chosen to serve.

The Bill of Rights gives no-one rights. It protects rights that we now have from those who might attempt to diminish those rights. Please read the Preamble to the Bill of Rights. The preamble also explains why the Bill of Rights (the first ten amendments) has been made part of the body of the Constitution. That reason, to prevent any change to them except by amendment in accordance with Article V. of the Constitution.

Why aren’t you loudly complaining when you see and hear that your representatives are not serving you and not doing so according to constitutional law? You are responsible for the performance of everyone you choose to serve.

Do not vote for anyone that is now in office!
