We are a national movement of ordinary citizens, defending Free Speech and standing for all our First Amendment rights through local action.

CFFS is the premier national advocacy, training, and networking organization for local activists who are ready to exercise their First Amendment rights in a strategic and responsible manner to effect meaningful policy changes in their local cities, towns and communities.

We equip our nation of defenders to push back on all attacks against the First Amendment, including the expression of religion, censorship in the press, the right to assemble, and the right to engage with elected officials.

How you can join the fight

ADVOCACY

Laws are the primary line of defense for protecting the First Amendment. Our members can help support or oppose legislation that directly impacts free speech in America. We track bills and other regulations throughout the country on the local, state, and national levels. Sign up for alerts to know when to contact your representatives to make your voice heard.

TRAINING 

Get the grassroots leadership training you need to engage with others civilly and confidently. The Citizen Ninja Way is a method of activism that will give you an empowered mindset and practical tips for collaborating with others in your local community.

COLLABORATION

Connect with activists across the country to share news, information, and resources on our networking and e-learning platform, Local Activist. Teams and organizations can create “Freedom Pods” using the group feature to plan, coordinate, and manage documents and information in a private and secure online space free of censorship.

LEADERSHIP

If protecting and preserving free speech is your core passion, then we invite you to become a CFFS Ambassador to help mobilize citizens in your state. This includes helping to promote CFFS programs and distributing the Free Speech Statesman in your community.
